ADULT VOCAL CHOIRS Rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:00 pm in the choir room during the school year. It is open to all high school aged through adults. They sing a wide variety of musical styles and genres of the church music literature. They are a part of worship at the 9:30 and 11:00 Sunday Morning worship services as well as Lenten, Easter and Christmas worship occasions.

CHILDREN CHOIRS This is one of our choirs for children. It is divided into two age groups--those currently in school grades K-2 and 3-5. Our purpose is to provide the children of our church and community with arts activities that will help them learn about God’s love and share his love with others. This will be done in a fun, friendly, and welcoming environment. These groups meet in the adult and children’s choir rooms at 6:30 pm on Wednesdays. Our youngest group of singers meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in the Kindergarten Sunday School classroom. This group is open to children age 3 through 5. They are led by a volunteers in the music ministry.

HANDBELL CHOIRS The Sanctuary Handbell choir meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:30 pm. To be a part of this group you should have some handbell experience. This group rings a variety of music and participates in worship approximately once a month. For the less experienced ringer we have the Cancel Handbells. This group meets on Wednesday afternoon from 4:30 – 5:30 PM. There are a variety of levels of playing (beginning to experienced). This group rings every two to three months for worship.For youth in grades 6-12. It is a chance to be with youth and be a part of a handbell group. This is currently a small group, but there is room for expansion to involve more. The ensemble meets on Sunday afternoon at 5:30 - 6:30 PM

Instrumental Groups There are three praise bands currently meeting regularly. Each group includes singers and instrumentalist (guitars, drums, keyboards, etc.) There is room for growth in this area. If you are interested in being a part of a group like this, or have had experience playing in a band, please contact the Minister of Music. Opportunities for Soloists/Small Groups There are many opportunities in worship for soloists and small groups to sing or play instruments. If you have an intrest in this, please contact the Minister of Music. We are always looking for ways to expand the music ministry in Carmel. we have interest in forming a men's choir, a mixed quartet, men's quartet and instrumental ensembles- both orchestral instruments and handbells. watch for information on the forming of these groups. If you have a particular interest for a group in our music ministry please let us know. we need you to be a part of this vital and growing ministry of our church.
