Henderson Settlement is a national mission trip opportunity in which CUMC volunteers (adults, families, teens and youth) spend a week in Frakes, KY offering hands-on service to the poor citizens of the Appalachia region (southern KY, Northern TN). Disaster Relief Trips. The United Methodist Church, through UMCOR, is active in disaster relief efforts across the United States. Whenever possible, CUMC sends teams to areas as close as Columbus, IN and as far away as Mississippi to help with cleanup work.
