Favorite drink at Starbucks: Prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee actually
Playlist: Eye of the Tiger, Anything by U2, Caedmon’s Call
First job: Worked for about a week at Party Time Rental during one summer in Jr. High…quit because they worked me like 12 hours a day

If you could be on any reality show, which one you go on? No Question, I would be on “The Amazing Race” with my wife or with Kevin
American Idol audition song: “I will survive” love the disco
Favorite books: “Into the Wild” by Jon Krakauer, anything by Bill Bryson “The Irresistible Revolution” by Shane Claiborne “Messy Spirituality” by Mike Yaconelli
Something you wish students understood: That God loves them, always, no matter what…He is crazy about them and they can’t mess up enough to make Him stop loving them
Favorite Bible Verse: That’s hard…I’ll go with Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Kevin Andrews, Jr. High Pastor
Favorite drink at Starbucks: I’m not a huge coffee drinker and I’m cheap so probably tap water. Probably the best drink on their menu would be 2% milk because there isn’t a more refreshing liquid in the universe.
Playlist: I don’t own an ipod. Mostly I sing to myself in falsetto to the dismay of my wife Sandra.
First job: Mowing lawns at the age of 12 for the neighbors. My first formal job was working at Wendy’s. They called me the grill master…some still do.
Personal Info (family, school...) I have been married since 2003 to my beautiful wife, Sandra, who is the joy of my life. We recently expanded our family to include 2 children, Tasha and Ross. I have two wonderful parents who I am turning into. I have two vibrant (read “talkative) younger sisters. One married and one graduating high school soon. Both were at one time an arch enemy and now are great friends….I love them both. Graduated from Maconaquah High School near Kokomo, IN in 1999. Bachelors in Religion and Philosophy from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2002. Play guitar, paintball, and with fire (or more specifically fireworks). Aspire to be a jack-of-all-trades. I’m 1.3% there.
If you could be on any reality show, which one you go on? Survivor. I’ve been a fan since the first show and always wanted a chance to prove my survival skills (starting fire, spearing fish, eating bugs). It is still on my long list of things to do before I die.
American Idol audition song: I would never audition for American Idol. I could never win and hopefully am not bad enough to be ridiculed in front of millions of viewers.
Favorite books: Chronicles of Narnia (especially “The Horse and His Boy”), The City of Ember, The Case for Christ, The Minor Prophets of the Old Testament (all the ones you can’t pronounce like Habakkuk), Wild at Heart
Something you wish students understood: That following Jesus can be more exciting, extreme, and thrilling anything else in the world. If the Christians you know don’t experience this, you can show them how to live, love, and forgive in radical ways.
Favorite Bible Verse: Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him. Job 13:15
