2013 is the 21st Anniversary of the CUMC Food Pantry!
The CUMC Food Pantry is a food distribution ministry which provides food to residents of Hamilton County, serving an average of 300 families each month.
Qualifications: Any person in need will be helped. The only qualification is that you must be a resident of Hamilton County. Please bring a picture ID and proof of residency. No financial questions are asked. Guests are asked to limit their visits to once a month.
Hours: Monday & Tuesday: 1-5 pm Wednesday & Thursday: 9 am - 1 pm Saturday: 10 am - 2 pm
Donations: Our Food Pantry is supported by donations of food and monetary gifts. Donations may be delivered any time and left at the church in the donation center.
What you can do to help: First we ask for prayers for those in need. Second, we ask for you to support this ministry by making a monetary donation, making a food donation or volunteering your time. Our Food Pantry needs approximately $3000 per month to keep the shelves stocked.
Items the Pantry Always Needs: cereal, juice, paper products, personal products, peanut butter and crackers.
Each month we will focus on a special food item always in demand at our pantry. Please add an extra 3-4 of these to your donation each month:
