Food Pantry

2012 is the 20th Anniversary of the CUMC Food Pantry!

The CUMC Food Pantry is a food distribution ministry which provides food to residents of Hamilton County, serving an average of 200 families each month.

Qualifications: Any person in need will be helped. The only qualification is that you must be a resident of Hamilton County. Please bring a picture ID and proof of residency. No financial questions are asked. Guests are asked to limit their visits to once a month.

Hours: Monday & Tuesday: 1-5 pm
          Wednesday & Thursday: 9 am - 1 pm
          Saturday: 10 am - 2 pm

Donations: Our Food Pantry is supported by donations of food and monetary gifts. Donations may be delivered any time and left at the church in the donation center.

What you can do to help:
First we ask for prayers for those in need. Second, we ask for you to support this ministry by making a monetary donation, making a food donation or volunteering your time. Our Food Pantry needs approximately $3000 per month to keep the shelves stocked.

Items the Pantry Always Needs: cereal, juice, paper products, personal products and crackers.

Each month we will focus on a special food item always in demand at our pantry. Please add an extra 3-4 (or how about 20 in honor of our 20th year!) of these to your donation each month:

January jelly
February canned & boxed juice
March canned soup
April tuna
May spaghetti & sauce
June cereal
July canned & boxed juice
August peanut butter
September crackers
October sweet potatoes canned
November shampoo & hand soap
December toothpaste
