Second Starts is a metropolitan Indianapolis ministry which provides new and gently-used household items to families who are transitioning from homelessness into a home of their own. 

Qualifications:  Anyone transitioning from homelessness into a home of their own is eligible to receive household items. You must have your order request Fax’d to Second Starts by a referring agency. For a list of referring agencies, please call Second Starts or visit the Second Starts web-page (see below). 

What You Can Do To Help: 

Donate Items: General household items:Lamps, Coffee Makers, Irons, Bed Sheets, Blankets, Pillows, Towels, Curtains, Tablecloths Dishes, Bowls, Plates, Glasses, Silverware, Pots, Pans, Skillets, Measuring Spoons/Cups 

Donate Funds: Money is needed to meet general operating expenses as well as
to purchase items that are not donated in sufficient quantities. 

Volunteer your Time: Pick up donations Sort and inventory items Make deliveries Provide office support 

Spread the word: Tell others in the community about this mission
