Along with other pastoral duties, Rev. Curt Hunt is responsible for hospitality ministries, new member care and assimilation, technology support, and pastoral congregation care.

Rev. Curt Hunt,
Associate Minister, joined Carmel UMC as an Associate Pastor in July
2004. Prior to coming to Carmel, Curt served four years as the Pastor at
Marietta United Methodist Church in Shelby County. Curt graduated with a
Master's of Divinity degree from Christian Theological Seminary in May
of 2004, and also holds three degrees from Indiana University: BA -1978,
MA-1983, JD-1982. Curt is married to Cheryl, who he met while growing up in and attending the First United Methodist Church in Griffith, Indiana. Cheryl is an artist, with a focus on watercolors, crafts and flower gardening. Curt and Cheryl have one son, Ryan, who attends Ball State University. Ryan enjoys raising orchids and is thinking about a career in biology. Curt enjoys photography and also enjoys playing golf, especially with son Ryan. |
