Rev. Dr. Jackie Chandler, Pastoral Counselor, began the pastoral counseling services of Buchanan Counseling Center at the Carmel UMC location in 1997. She has been in the ministry and practice of pastoral counseling since 1987. She has a passion and awareness of the Holy in going with individuals and families as they sort thru life’s struggles. In the past she has been pastor of a local congregation and has worked many years with adolescents in youth ministry. Jackie received her Bachelor Degree in Theater from Butler University and her Master of Divinity Degree from Christian Theological Seminary. In 2002 she earned her Doctor of Ministry Degree from Christian Theological Seminary. Jackie is married to Rick, a pharmacist, and they have three children. Lenae and Melissa are both nurses. Lenae has begun a degree program at Christian Theological Seminary and Melissa has an interest in helping people. Their son Bret is a Seminary Student in Chicago. Jackie likes theatre, reading, and hanging out with her family.
