 Sports
& Recreation Ministry is an outreach-based ministry of CUMC and not just
a country club for its members to get together and play games...
although there is value in that too. Fellowship among believers is
important and should be accomplished while at the same time reaching out
to those who do not have an eternal/personal relationship with Jesus.As our ministry unfolds, you will find activities for all ages. We're kicking off with these special events: **Women's Fitness & Toning Class Every Tuesday & Thursday morning from 8:30 - 9:45. $48 for 12 classes. **Men's Basketball Pick-up games and devotions every Monday from 7-9 pm **Youth Basketball and Devotions Every Thursday evening. 6:30-8, K-5th grade; 8-9:30, 6-12th grade **Photography Club First Wednesday of each month from 6:30-7:30 pm beginning January 7. Future Events: Ballroom dancing classes Thursdays at 7 pm from January 22 -March 12. First 8 couples to sign up. Classes are $40 per couple for 8 classes. Father/Daughter Dance January 30, 2009 Super Bowl Breakfast Simulcast January 31, 2009 Indoor Cornhole Tournament February 27, 2009 Euchre Tournament March 21, 2009 2 areas we need help planning: 1. Fitness equipment room. Help us make fitness a ministry! 2. A group trip to Branson, MO. Have you been with a group to this entertainment hotspot?
