The Children's ministry team seeks to
minister to the church family, with a special focus on families with
children from infancy to fifth grade. The vision of this team as we
minister to and with the entire family of God, follows the vision of the
church, "to become a Christ-centered community of ordinary people
accomplishing the extraordinary." To learn more about any of the following

Adventurers (3rd, 4th, and 5th grade)
Join us on a mission adventure with God! The goals of this group include
building community, doing mission projects, growing Christian
discipleship and having fun! Adventurers meet on the second Sunday of
the month from 2:00-4:00 pm. "Growing disciples by developing Christian
friendships, being on mission with God, and living the Biblical example.

Wednesday Night Friends and Family (WNF&F)
Wednesday Night Friends and Family provides opportunities for growth in
Christian discipleship through study, fellowship, and delicious home
cooked dinner. These opportunities are for your entire family!
"Fellowship" is the key to WNF&F. It is an excellent way to make new
friends and stay in touch with old.

WNF&F Kids Program (1st-5th grade)
Classes, choirs, and programming for kids 3 yrs.-5th grade to learn
more about God after dinner on Wednesday nights during the school year.

Cherub Choir
A part of CUMC's great music ministry a choir for preschoolers. Learn
fun Bible based songs and do a simple activity. Our youngest group of
singers meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:40 in room 115. This group is
open to children ages 3 through 5. Volunteers in the music ministry lead
them in singing, crafts, and Bible lesson.

Family Mission Trip
A family focused mission trip designed to allow the whole family to
serve together in mission.

In-Touch (5th grade)
Get "in touch" with God in this small group for 5th graders. In-Touch
meets on the 3rd Friday of every month during the school year.

Lenten Adventure
Join us for a time for crafts and a children's moment on Wednesday night
preceding Ash Wednesday services as we prepare for Holy Week and the
resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Easter Egg Hunt
We gather on the front steps for a short story about the meaning of
Easter and then children will be invited, by age group, to start
"hunting"!

Spring Break Mystery Trip
During Carmel-Clay Spring Break, children take a day trip to an unknown
destination. It's always a lot of fun!

Trunk or Treat
Join us in October for this Halloween alternative during Wednesday Night
Friends and Family. Dress up or come as you are and trick or treat from
trunk to trunk as we celebrate family and Fun.
